My philosophy of technology in the classroom is that it should play a vital role in the classroom. These students are constantly exposed to technology, so it would be a simple and fun way to make connections with the student, not only from home but the world around them. Technology allows students to explore the world and share their work as well. Students also are required to be technology savvy if they are going to be educated and prepared for the 21st century.
When using technology though, I want to also use caution. I want to make sure that my students are learning and exploring things that would be beneficial for them. I do not want to use technology in the classroom just because it is there. I think that everything has a purpose and there are lessons that can be designed to best enhance technology in the classroom.
